Store Policy

The chicken yard is open to customers. Feel free to browse and shop while you wait. During open hours, please sign in on the sheet on the table under the house so that I may help customers in the order of arrival. You can also book an appointment for an exclusive chicken shipping experience or Backyard Chickens 101 learning adventure. Consider this option if you have lots of questions would like uninterrupted, individual service, or just don’t want to wait during open hours. SeaBreeze Hens also provides express pick up and delivery to the Houston and Lufkin area.

Hen Money Back Guarantee Policy

If a chicken you purchase as a pullet (not a straight run) turns out to be a rooster, you can get the purchase price back as store credit. You have the option to keep or return the rooster. A rooster return is not required to get your store credit. You also have the option to receive a replacement pullet If we have a replacement that is the same age or younger that you would like to receive instead of a refund. For shipping orders the customer will cover the shipping costs to receive the replacement hen. 

Straight Run Chicks - Split the Risk Policy

We will give you credit toward your next chicken purchase for 50% of the purchase price of straight run chicks that turn out to be roosters. Sebrights, Silkies, D'uccles, Bantam Cochins, Seramas, English Orpington, Ayam Cemani, Blue Laced Red Wyandotte (Seabreeze Line), Tolbunt Polish (SeaBreeze Line), and Frizzles are sold as straight run. Unless otherwise indicated usually dependent on age. Ayam Cemanis are not included in this offer.
